The symbols or colours we may visualize for this exercise:

Just like with the Rainbow, the 6 colours also start at the one border from violet, and on the other side end in that colour again, before we start and after we finished , we may think of  violet (the highest of colour-vibrations) in spiritual perspective. Here we may also visualize we start from the 1st. (lowest) chakra, going up one step every time. We then take from the earth Red power, to connect to the deepest layer of our aura that will protect us, finish by connecting that at the Crown chakra and extend the hands upward before going down for the next colour (also power for the next aura layer) and so on...

So here too, we may visualize starting with violet, the highest frequency of colour ; this finds a parallel in the thought: "Seek first the Kingdom of God and Its Justice, and all else shall be given to you"; al the Universal Teachers have in one way or another taught this most important thought!
