Say: "May all ties with the evil one be cut and broken, for the glory of our Heavenly Father"
Swing both arms at shoulder-heighth from one side to the other in a bow and make a a movement as if mowing with a scythe. Breath: every time fully breathe in before mowing, and with the mowing, breathe out fully. (6 times: Right, Left, Right going backwards, then Left, Right, Left going forward).
Symbolism: The sixth point (down in the middle), the "toute petite difference" we also (symbolically!) mow off: to become prefect it is necessary that man and woman become one, unhindered by "differences, as also is taught by Jesus in the "Gospel of Thomas", logion 22:
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, then you will enter the Kingdom." |
in this way the six-pointed star evolves into a "purified" five-pointed star and begins to shine! The Kathars, at their initiation rite, had the initiate take place in a five pointed niche, hewn out of the rock wall of their "Cave of Bethlehem". The five-pointed star stands for Perfect Man ("Parfait", as the Kathars called someone who reached that degree of perfection). We may also think here of the banishing of limiting curstoms and thoughts, as is so aptly worded in a passage from the Mazdaznan Avesta service.
Here too, we may do a colour- visualization every time we banish certain habits and thoughts, that are contrary to the following Forces of the Heavenly Father and Mother Earth:

Explanation: People never realize that we are connected to hell by invisible ties. They do not notice it; they eat and drink to their heart's desire, enjoy themselves, engage in dishonest practices. They have the illusion they are free, but really are tied hands and feet, and in the meantime the imagine they are quite something. You should cut all those ties and liberate yourself for the glory of God, yes, always for the glory of God.
