The Essene Communions with the Angels

WHAT IS MEANT BY THE WORD "ANGELS"?

In this context, we should have a correct perception of the word "Angel"; the word used in the Essene texts is the same as the word "Malak"in Hebrew. In Aramaïc this means as much as power or force of God. So when one is not at ease using the word Angel, it is just as correct to use the word power or force. Amongst protestant people the word angel is not as often used as amongst Roman Catholic people. Still, in that tradition a lot of extra has been attached to the word, that is not true to the original Aramaïc meaning... The Angels as seen in Church decorations and at Christmas are totally different from the original Seraphs and Cherubs! About this though, and the original teachings of Jesus only the initiated very top of the Church knows: only the Pope and the Cardinals; for anyone lower in rank, leave alone the "flock", this knowledge it is kept a secret. Still it shows when we look for instance at the photograph a Cardinal, wearing a special Cardinal's "Manipel" with the clear image of (something we do not see as "angels" in church, or at christmas!) a Cherub on the correct side: the left side, the female side of Mother Earth, and a Seraf on the right side: the male side of the Heavenly Father! So they themselves, at the very top, do know... but do not want to pass it on!

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov (of the Fraternité Blanche Universelle) in his book "A New Earth" also tells us it is good to commune with the Angels before going to sleep, with the methods of purification, even (p.99) the Angel of Air is mentioned , and he gives us (on p.101) a prayer to the Angels of the four Elements ... In connection with this, just take a look at the Cherubs...

So originally the real Cherubs and Seraphs were known, but whenever we now see Angels, we really only see depictions that are inspired by what was already known in pre-Christian Greek and Roman culture, instead of for instance the Cherub, as such an angel is described in the Book of Revelation of the Bible: with the elements of the Lion, the Bull, Man and the Eagle Adelaar in its aspect... (what a "co-incidence" this is, knowing that astrologically the signs of the Eagle and Scorpio are equal: this way of every element one is represented!)

No, what we are shown all the time, looks like the Greek depiction of the pre-christian (so: "Heathen"?) Goddess "Nikè" (goddess of victory) and the ditto Roman Cupido (Eros in Greek), but definitely not like the Cherub, Angel of Mother earth, or the Seraph, Angel of the Heavenly Father, who show us a clearly recognizable symbolism can explain us what there is to know.

WHAT IS MEANT BY THE WORD COMMUNION?

Communion means here: to establish communication between yourself and a positive power (like Jesus said: The Father and I are One), that is active on the Material plane (of Mother Earth, during daytime), or Spiritually, on the immaterial plane (of the Heavenly Father, at night during sleeping/dreaming).

Because God, and even our planet Earth, is so enormous, that we really cannot just simply imagine this as a whole, we may instead every day look at a certain aspect of the fullness of this infinity. Each of those aspects cannot be really "separated, but is only serving us as a method to look at something that in reality is immeasurable from a different angle, so that at a certain moment we will, almost spontaneously, still get a total vision of the whole; we will then envisage all the workings of all the forces (the Laws of Nature and Cosmos), for we are actually meant to, and mean to, live live in harmony with them, and work with them all.

So it would be really wrong to start thinking of each of those aspects as a separate "god, and even worship them as such. This is exactly what happened in the later Persian official state-religion, in which one was obliged to honour all of the separate forces as gods, each with its own priest, to which tributes had to be paid. In that way the original teachings of Zarathustra degenerated into polytheism. That clearly had not been the original intention! Regard all those forces as originally emanating from the One Source, to which they belong, and with which we work together: so they may also strengthen us.
