Community of Peace

Community of Peace is the international name for our Church “Vrede Zij Met U!” - translated as: “Peace Be With You!”. Our Church is officially founded in Holland on the 21st of September 2001. We decided to change our statutes because the being and the purpose of our Church has changed completely. Our notary office is preparing the new statutes. Our new being and purpose are:

- Being

1. Being

Community of Peace is a universal Peace Movement (further called: the Peace Movement). This Peace Movement is merely a society in which all participants can take part in active cooperation in thinking, word and deed on all the fields our movement is busy. For this reason our Peace Movement has members and aspirant-members. Natural persons are aspirant-member of this movement by birthright. They have the possibility to have them registrated as aspirant-member by Kŗşņānanda, governer of the Peace Movement, who employs them with all activities as if they are full member of the Peace Movement. If they keep themselves to the following five principles, they are able to step forward to have them baptised. As such they are full members of our Peace Movement:

a. they do not eat meat, fish and eggs, and cause no unnecessary suffering for animals, nor do they cooperate with that in any way;

b. they do not poison themselves in any way;

c. they do not use sex for power or hidden purposes; for the satisfaction of their own ego or dominance; for any other purpose than for what it is given: the experience of the purest Joy and the highest ecstasy, given and devided, that is Love;

d. they do not speculate, they do not gamble and they do not take part in games of chance;

e. they hallow the Names of Christ, our God, every day.

Baptised full members of our Peace Movement have the right to establish under the order of Community of Peace and in complience with the underneath written statements a church, a society or another legal institution according to the applicable laws and legal regulations of the country they are living in. They do so at their own judgement and responsibility.

2. Conviction

The members are convinced of the facts:

- that life is their most precious having;

- that they may use in Joy all Life forces to balance them with the forces of death, so that all Powers are in balance at all times;

- that mutual understanding leads to mutual cooperation; that mutual cooperation leads to Peace and that Peace is the only way for humanity to live together in happiness;

- that they may protect in Joy the natural recourses, the heritage of their children, in stead of wasting them;

- that they may avoid in Joy the pollution of the air, the water and the earth, the most necessary conditions of Life;

- that they may treat well in Joy the vegetation of their planet: the humble grass that appeared fifty million (50.000.000) years ago and the majestic trees that appeared twenty million (20.000.000) years ago to prepare our planet for humanity;

- that they eat in Joy only fresh, natural, pure, healthy foods that are not fabricated artificially and to which no chemicals are added;

- that they may lead in Joy a natural creative modest life, in which they absorb all sources of energy, harmony and knowledge, within and around them;

- that the improvement of Life and humanity on our planet has to start with individual effort, as all is embedded in the atoms of which it consists.

3. Belief

They believe in Christ, our God, in his Inner energy Radharani (= Mother Hara) and in their spiritual children: all living beings, called souls. They are pure spirit, just like their original pair of Parents: Radha-Krishna, is pure spirit. This is why they do not believe in the illusions that they are their body or their mind.

4. Philosophy

Our Peace Movement lives and acts with the motto: “We are all One, and there is only One of us.” From this philosophy can be concluded that all living beings on this earth are united by birth in this unique Peace Movement. This is why all living beings, called brothers and sisters, have equal rights to the protection of their lives and of their environment.

- Purpose

1. Purpose

The topmost important fact is that people develop their own consciousness so that the lion is able to lay himself down beside the lamb again. The development of self consciousness is connected tightly with the development of Christ or God consciousness. This is why the Peace Movement’s goal is to have awakened and enlarged the slumbering Love of God in any human being. To reach this goal, the movement teaches how humanity is able to serve Christ out of pure Love without self interest, so unconditionally.

2. Means

The Peace Movement tries to reach this goal amongst other means by:

Our Peace Movement has as a foundation Christ himself, Who came to us via the Brahmā-sampradāya, also called the Gaudīya-sampradāya. Therefore our Peace Movement gives answers to all problems: when all parliaments, social and religious institutions on this earth are transformed in true houses of God, in which the Names of God are hallowed, all problems will be solved, and the earthly Paradise is a fact. It is just as simple as that! Then humanity knows that you may treat another being like you want to be treated yourself. This is the heart of the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 7: 12).
